About the Event｜活動簡介
ARTICLE 19, an international think–do organisation advancing freedom of expression worldwide, is hosting a one-day open training for Taiwan’s civil society—including journalists, civic tech communities, academics, and other stakeholders.
This training will address China’s influence on cybersecurity norms in the Indo-Pacific and their human rights implications. Participants will gain:
📖 A deeper understanding of the Digital Silk Road & PRC’s digital governance norms
🌏 Real-world case studies from Indo-Pacific countries
⚖️ An introduction to international human rights law (freedom of expression, cybersecurity, digital infrastructure)
🗣 Strategies for Taiwan’s global internet governance advocacy
This event will be in English, with real-time Mandarin collaborative notetaking.
ARTICLE 19 是推動全球言論自由的國際組織，將為台灣的公民社群舉辦 一天的講座，對象包括記者、公民科技社群、學者與其他關鍵利害關係人。
課程將探討 中國對印太地區資訊安全規範的影響 及其人權意涵。參與者將會了解到：
📖 對「數位絲綢之路」與中國特色數位治理模式的深入理解
🌏 來自印太地區的真實案例分享
⚖️ 言論自由、資訊安全、數位基礎建設等國際人權法入門
🗣 台灣在被排除多數國際論壇下的倡議策略
